Today this image from the photoshoot I decided to try and edit as it will possibly be used for my digi pack.

Certain things I tried to do included:
- increasing the colour of Ellies hair ( as it's very eye catching)
- making the background different shades of white ( again drawing more attention to her)
- air brushing skin ( proffesional look)

Edit 2

I'm fairly happy with my second edit however I do think it needs more work. Using the edit suite I aim to place affects on my clips to make it look more high quality alongside maybe slightly cropping to to look like a short film. I also think more filming needs to take place as I want it too look more interesting by using more locations and maybe some footage of Ellie singing along to the song.

In these images I have taken I wanted to show my characters rebelious side by showing her with a lighter ( as she smokes in the  video) I like this images as I have took mainy different similar shots to make sure the one I choose for my digi pack is perfect to match my music video.

The clothes Ellie is wearing is intetional as I wanted to make it easy for my audience to see that the images connect to the music video to show continuity.

I like these images however I think they're too blury espically the lighter.

Expirementing with other types of shots.

I like this images outside as the light is very clear which makes these images better quality. Again props from the music video are shown such as a bottle of wine, picture of Ellie and her mother and a lighter.

I like the choice of background on these images as they match with her jumper and therefore make her face more eye catching as she has red lips and red hair along with pale skin.

3rd time filming feedback

This day of filming went very well for me and my actress Ellie as we got a lot done which is possible to be used for my finished product. We also visited a lot of different destinations such as Ellie's house, A park nearby and Hessle Square. Although it was very cold we managed to get everything planned.
At the beginning of the day I decided to film the argument scene between Ellie and her mother over the table. Using different shot techniques I believe it went very well. The only issue with the scene is that Ellie's mother struggled to look 'angry' as she felt under pressure and also the fact that a English fry up couldn't be made ( as the items of food wasn't in) so therefore cereal was used for a substitute.

The shots of Ellie ripping up her work to show she was rebelling from her families wishes also went well. The pieces of paper however did take so preparation as she had to make sure they were old essays and then I wrote on them all stating a grade. I liked this footage as I got a lot of different angles. I believe this footage will be used to good use as I think it'll look very affective.

The shots I took outside (such as in her garden and in the park) went very well as the lighting was perfect and made the footage very good quality and not grainy. The footage taking in the park also went well despite the amount of the public which were watching me as I was filming. The short shot of Ellie hugging an old man ( which was unplanned) I also think will look affective as the feeling of being 'loveable' is also an affect of ectasty.

All in all I believe that the day went great and hopefully I won't have to film anymore so I can focus on my ancillary texts and putting the music video together along with adding affects.

Album Ideas

These images I have taken off the internet I have picked individually for different reasons as I think all of these images will fit my narrrative.
The first image shown of a childs photography smashed I like as I think it links to my narrative of daughter and mother fighting and the daughter wanted to push herself away. The smashed glass could also connotate anger.

I like these images of a lighter close to a girls face as they both draw attention the fire produced. These images are also quiet different from any other album cover as I haven't seen an image like this yet on a front cover. I also think using a lighter will show my characters rebelious side as she does smoke and take illegal drugs in the video. The lighter lastly shows she's risky and dangerous, this is how I want to show my character to be like.

Plans to finish filming on 24th February

I am planning to finish my filming for my music video with Ellie this Sunday as we are both free for the full day. Hopefully if the weather is mild then I will be able to finish off my filming around Hull City Centre, shots of Ellie at home setting a light some essays and a picture along with filming an argument between her mother across the table as she is also free on Sunday. I am aiming to at least do 3 hours of filming so hopefully I won't have to re take and I can spend the rest of my remaining time putting the music video together and focusing on every little detail to make it look as good as possible.

I believe Sunday will also be a good day to take some shots for my album and poster as she will be suitably dressed.

Because of the recent change in weather with the snow falling it's been very hard to film as the weather hasn't been consistent but now the snow has gone hopefully everything will be finished by this weekend and I can focus on my digi pack.
